New CNRS/NSFC collaborative research project with Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica/Chinese Academia of Sciences
The DISCO beamline at SOLEIL welcomes us for four days at Synchrotron SOLEIL from 6th to 9th July. This is a collaboration with Dr. Frank Wien (beamline team) and Dr. Séverine Zirah (Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle), to study the structure of photoswitchable peptides. This is supported by SOLEIL.

The PhD project will concern the design of biomimetic and diversity-oriented strategies to synthesize natural products and medicinally relevant analogues in a bioactive compound series. Contact: Dr. Bastien Nay. We are also looking for talented Chinese postdoc candidates.
The ANR Synspired (Synthesis and Biosynthesis of Natural Product Drug-Leads: from Molecule Discovery to Bio-inspired Processes) started in April 2016. The aim is to support future applications to European calls in natural product chemistry, synthesis and biosynthesis. The kick off meeting of the ANR MRSEI 2nd Edition will be tomorrow in Paris.
Synthesis and Biosynthesis of Natural Product Drug-Leads: from Molecule Discovery to Bio-inspired Processes Natural products are important providers of drug leads in the occidental society and have played key roles in biological sciences and medicine due to their privileged ability to interact with life components. However, it is obvious that they cannot be sustainably purified […]
